Irvine Museum

I’m honored to have one of my San Francisco cityscapes hung in the Irvine Museum. The museum features the best collection of California impressionists in the country and the current exhibition features past and present artists who have found inspiration in the California landscape.

Pioneer Trail

I am currently working on a large show covering the 1,300 mile Mormon and Oregon Trails from Nauvoo to Salt Lake City with artists John Burton and Josh Clare. The show will hang at the museum of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and will open October 2016 and run through April 2017. A book and short documentary will be available when the show opens.

Maynard Dixon Country 2015

I was invited to participate in this year’s Maynard Dixon Country Invitational show. It features many of the best American representational landscape painters working today. The show is in Mt. Carmel August 21-23, 2015 and is located just outside of Zion National Park. All proceeds from the show benefit the Thunderbird Foundation which preserves the home and legacy of Maynard Dixon.

New Beginnings

Next week I will be moving into a new studio in Berkeley.  This new location will allow more space for painting larger works and hosting open studios and other events.  It will also serve as the first ‘brick-and-mortar’ STRADA easel store so local artists can see the STRADA in action before purchasing.  Stay tuned for information about the ‘studio warming’ party we will be having in the new year.
